Shilo's 4 Month Check-Up

My baby girl is four months old! Wow! Sometimes it seems like it’s been less time than that and at other times it seems like more. Mostly she just seems to be growing up super fast. Well, our little chubby hobbit had her 4 month check-up today. When Kayley was 4 months she was about an inch and a half longer, but an ounce less in weight.

Here are Shilo’s stats:

Weight: 15lbs 6oz (90 percentile)

Height: 25.3 inches (90 percentile)

Head circumference: 16.8 inches (90 percentile)

We got a good report from Z on Shilo’s development. Shilo is showing really good head control and arm strength for the average 4 month old. In fact, while Z was checking Shilo out during some tummy time, Shilo rolled over from her tummy to back for the first time! She blessed Andrew and Kayley by doing it once more today for them to see. Both times she seemed a little shocked about what happened. Seems Shilo is getting closer to being a mover. And since she loves to put every and anything into her mouth we will not only have to keep an extra good eye on her, but we will have to go through all of Kayley’s toys and make sure there isn’t anything too small mixed in.
