Happy
Father’s Day to all you dads out there! We had a wonderful weekend celebrating
Andrew’s second Father’s Day as a dada. Here are a few of the highlights:
Kayley
and I took Andrew to The Root Beer Store and let him pick a few bottles to try
(Andrew really likes root beer, but is very picky about it too. Hence us taking
him to the store –which he loved- and not just going and randomly selecting
stuff {I personally dislike root beer}).

We
stopped by a Half-Price books, one of Andrew’s favorite stores. He didn’t find
anything he wanted this time, but we found some great deals for Kayley and me.
We had
pizza out and then watched the movie Tintin at home.
Kayley
“made” her daddy breakfast. Or rather, Kayley helped pick what mama was going
to make for Daddy’s breakfast on Father’s Day. This was followed by a wonderful
time at church.

We had
lunch at one of Andrew’s favorite food places: Five Guys. And then went to
Crossroads for a Bubba Tea (and Cold Stone for me).
| Funny thing is there wasn't any sorbet left in the cup, but Kayley was so excited to pretend to eat with a spoon |
Kayley
gave her daddy a card (which she picked out herself, and totally picked because
of the dog on the front) that had a pretty picture that she drew inside.

Andrew
said he really enjoyed the weekend and it felt like time had slowed down. I am
so thankful for Andrew and the Dad he is and the Dad he is becoming. He and
Kayley love each other so much and I can’t wait to see him snuggle and love on
Cub too.
